since i'm on this poetry kick lately and i have this poem, mostly, commited to memory.....i shall write it down for your enjoyment..i think its my favorite love style poem. not that i read a lot of them.....
"She Walks in Beauty"
She walks in beauty like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all thats best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed by the tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One ray the more one shade the less,
Had half impaired that nameless grace
Which waves in ever rave tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenly sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm , yet eloquent,

honestly now i know the first 2 stanzas, but not the last in the least bit.....

anyways....
back to reality
and what a great reality it is... the sox are in the playoffs. we start off with anaheim.......

out of the 9 games played between ANA and the SOX this year......the sox have come out ontop with 5 wins and 4 loses....a lil too close for me...but none the less a win. in all of these 9 games, the sox played 6 away and only 3 at home.. and we all know the sox fair better at fenway..which is proven here because won 3 of the 5 wins at home....lost none at home...while losing 4 away and winning 2. notice how all the loses occurred outside of fenway park....

sad to say...but all and all ANA outscored us 53 -54 (in my book sox always come first)........to go on....they outscored us in away game by 10 runs, 27-37...however at the fenway the sox outscored ANA 26-17

-i don't like the away games....but we can do it..we'll just have to sweep them now won't we (:
