mr bochman today talked in band. about budget cuts. and possible band cuts and stuff involving band. and how people say we just waste 25% of our high school career in the band room. supposedly we don't work. right sure....we work we really do. we jsut don't sit back and listen to some teacher talk and take notes. we participate and all of that. we are involved in the community. i think you could say that. concerts and stuff, the jazz band does a lot of gigs around town. its not a waste of time. you learn stuff in band you don't learn anywere else in the school. Some people don't understand that, because they don't understand music. its harder for them to see what you can get out of it. i think thats why the school commitee people and whoever else says that actually says that sorta stuff about us.

and then we talked about the dreaded 6 period day. i don't want that. i like block scheduling. i guess its a lot cheaper than block scheduling. idk how it could be a lot cheaper. we're in school the same amount of time and the teachers teach for the same amount of time. that makes electives really hard....they shoudl jsut cut foods. people who take foods and talk about it say that they just do nothing and just take it to eat or be with friends. i mean its foods. we had home ec in middle school. if you can measure and read you can cook. and pottery...alright yes so idk i think that there are other classes that do less work than we do. and have less obligations
